Profoto's Collapsible Reflectors perhaps represent light shaping in its simplest form. They are easy to use, easy to transport, and can be used to bounce or diffuse both sunlight and flash light. The sturdy, collapsible metal frame is equipped with two ergonomically shaped handles, making it easy to fold the reflectors and hold them in various positions.
The white fabric reflects light as naturally as possible, making it our most popular reflector and a great tool to start with. It provides soft, natural light, which is ideal for capturing outdoor portraits in bright sunlight, or for studio sessions when using a flash. To achieve the best effect from the white reflector, it should be placed very close to the subject.
SunSilver fabric creates a fairly warm light with slightly higher light output and more contrast than its white counterpart. Consequently, this is a very popular reflector, often used for capturing sunsets or when a warmer, more natural skin tone is desired.
