Description
The main feature that distinguishes the Godox V1 Olympus-Panasonic shoe flash from other flashes is its round head.
That is where its main novelty lies, in the diffusion of the Light it produces.
This head offers a round, uniform light with a smooth, pleasant dimming that blends seamlessly with the ambient light.
While previously the front flash generated terrible shadows, the new V1 works with a dimming of these, coming much closer to studio lighting than a traditional speedlight.
The Godox V1 head features a magnetic mount that allows us to attach the magnetic modifiers and filters from the Godox AK-R1 kit for greater light control and performance.
Other features of this flash include more intuitive buttons and dials, and an improved hot shoe lock.
Godox X-system integration
The Godox V1 flash integrates an internal 2.4Ghz wireless receiver compatible with Godox X system transmitters.
The X 2.4Ghz system is a unified triggering system from Godox that works with both its shoe-mounted, stand-alone and studio flashes.
This allows it to be triggered remotely while also maintaining advanced flash functions such as TTL exposure or HSS high-speed sync.
The Godox V1 in Radio Master mode can trigger and control all Godox 2.4GHz system flashes.
In slave mode it can also be triggered and controlled by 2.4 GHz Godox Master flashes and dedicated Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus and Fuji transmitters.
