This medium telephoto lens with a focal length equivalent to 87mm in 35mm format offers fantastic bokeh thanks to its wide F2 aperture, making it the perfect lens for portraits. It uses four ED lens elements and its high image quality limits chromatic aberration by combining these elements well before and after the aperture. It adopts an interior AF system that provides optimal settings and suppresses chromatic aberration due to changes in shooting distance.

The lens features a 14-element construction in 9 groups, including four ED lens elements, which suppresses spherical and chromatic aberration. The nine rounded aperture blades create a fantastic bokeh effect both in front of and behind the subject. This effect allows for richly expressive rendering of out-of-focus areas and is unique to medium format lenses.

High operability
