Leica now offers the new 8x42 Trinovid HD Binoculars. These binoculars are equipped with high-quality phase-correction coated prisms. These optical coatings work together to achieve images with high contrast and realistic color reproduction, along with minimal distortion. This optical performance is combined with a comfortable 8x magnification and a generous eye relief to ensure an exciting viewing experience.
The 8x42 Trinovid HD binoculars feature a robust and corrosion-resistant magnesium alloy. This makes these binoculars lightweight and easy to handle. The housing is also fully rubberized to protect against bumps and shocks. The non-slip grip provides a secure hold in wet or cold conditions.
The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and sealed with O-rings. This makes the 8x42 Trinovid HD binoculars completely waterproof and fog-free. You'll benefit from this during temperature fluctuations, and it's also not a disaster if the binoculars have to endure a downpour. The Trinovid HD binoculars can be equipped with the included flip-down lens caps or a rain cover. Leica hasn't failed to include a comfortable safety belt that doubles as a carrying case.
