Description
All Profoto softboxes are designed with a recessed front panel that makes it easier to attach a softgrid. This accessory reduces light spread to a 50-degree angle, meaning it concentrates the light more precisely and eliminates much of the stray light. This allows for more precise light sculpting.
By reducing light dispersion, the soft grid can increase the contrast in your images, adding a more dramatic and personal look to your photographs. It's also especially useful when you want to avoid over-illuminating unwanted areas of the background or surroundings.
