Description

The control algorithm including communication speed optimization and AF drive has been developed specifically for these X-mount lenses. In addition to high-speed AF, it also supports AF-C (continuous AF) and aberration correction on cameras that support this function.

Flare and ghosting were measured from an early stage in the lens design process to create an optical structure capable of successfully handling strong incident light sources, such as backlighting. Sigma's Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces these unwanted effects to help photographers produce sharp, high-contrast images even in challenging lighting conditions.
