HIGHLIGHTS:

1. Greater versatility thanks to a surprisingly short minimum focusing distance

These three prime lenses have an extremely short minimum focusing distance. The MOD (Minimum Object Distance) for the 20mm, 24mm, and 35mm lenses is 0.11m, 0.12m, and 0.15m, respectively. And all have a magnification ratio of 1:2. These surprising features, along with the unique characteristics of wide-angle lenses (closer objects appear much larger than those in the background), allow for the creation of compositions that markedly emphasize individual perspective.

Getting so close to a subject also allows for very pronounced background blur. Therefore, the ability to get up close to the subject is one of the most desirable features of wide-angle lenses. With dramatic close-up shots, these three lenses deliver unprecedented images for full-frame cameras, allowing complete creative freedom.

2. Compact, lightweight and with a 67mm filter diameter that offers the greatest possible portability

Weighing just 220g for the 20mm (model F050), 215g for the 24mm (model F051), and 210g for the 35mm (model F053), these lightweight lenses allow you to shoot comfortably and take them anywhere, without worrying about whether the weight is worth carrying. All three lenses together weigh less than 645g. Aiming for the lightest weight has become one of Tamron's top priorities. As proof of their compact design, the three new models share the same 67mm filter diameter as all Tamron lenses for full-frame cameras.
