The Viltrox AF 24mm f1.8 is our bright wide-angle lens for full-frame photography. Ideal for capturing action in context, both in photography and video. Its large aperture allows for a shallow depth of field and beautiful bokeh, even when using the wide angle of view typical of a wide-angle lens.
Its lens construction delivers high image quality: 11 elements in 9 groups, including 3 ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses, 3 High Transparency lenses, 2 aspherical lenses, and a high-definition multi-layer nano coating. The front lens has an anti-fouling and waterproof coating.
The quiet STM motor delivers fast, smooth internal focusing without changing the lens length and is compatible with EyeAF. Ideal for photography and video.
This model features metal bayonet contacts to support EXIF data transfer and electronic aperture control. It also offers battery life for firmware updates, thanks to a microUSB connector on the lens bayonet.
