The Sony FX3A body is optimized for fieldwork, with a lightweight and durable design that allows for shooting freedom in any environment. Its ergonomic grip makes it easy to operate manually, and the addition of multiple mounting threads makes it easy to use accessories without the need for external cages.
Full Frame sensor and BIONZ XR processor
Equipped with a 10.2MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor and the powerful BIONZ XR processor, the FX3A captures 4K video at 120p with a dynamic range of over 15 stops. The level of detail and color fidelity ensure professional results, even in low-light situations.
Unlimited 4K Recording
Thanks to its efficient cooling system, the Sony FX3A can record for long periods without the risk of overheating. It supports internal recording in 4:2:2 10-bit, as well as RAW via HDMI, all in professional formats such as XAVC S, XAVC HS, and All-Intra.
Professional workflow
The FX3A features HDMI Type A outputs, XLR microphone inputs via the included handgrip, dual CFexpress Type A/SD slots, and remote control and sync options. All designed to integrate into demanding multi-camera workflows.
Intelligent Autofocus
The Fast Hybrid AF system with 627 points and Real-time Tracking enables precise focusing even on moving subjects. Eye AF is included for humans and animals, both in video and photography, ensuring perfectly sharp shots.
Advanced Features for Filmmakers
Its tools include focus peaking, customizable LUTs, S-Cinetone and S-Log3 profiles, and internal 5-axis stabilization with active gyroscope, ideal for handheld shooting.
