At the longer zoom end, the lens offers a standard 40mm focal range, useful for everyday snapshots, portraits, and food photography. Meanwhile, at the wide-angle end, the 20mm ultra-wide focal length allows users to enjoy a wide range of photographs, including stunning and powerful natural landscapes that make use of the unique ultra-wide-angle perspective—something that can’t be expressed as easily with a fast aperture standard zoom lens starting at 24mm.
