Improved capacity and level of detail
This new option introduced by Nikon features dual EXPEED processors to create high-resolution full-frame images: sharper results when shooting under extreme ISO conditions and maximum sharpness even in low-light situations. The results in portrait photography are unbeatable: skin gradations are reproduced with great precision, creating spectacular results.

Reliable and fast
It features dual card slots that allow you to use SD UHS-II cards in one slot and XQD or CFexpress cards in the other. The cards can also be used as backups, for example, separating raw files from JPGs, and separating videos from still images. Shooting speeds of up to 10 fps provide immense flexibility. It has the ability to capture up to 200 full-resolution JPEG images or 77 uncompressed (12-bit) RAW images in a single burst.

Hybrid AF system
This system offers wide coverage and excellent sharpness. The camera returns to the selected focus point when activated from standby mode. Exposure can be metered down to -4 EV when shooting with a lens with an aperture of f/2 (or faster). Additionally, Eye Detection AF locks the image when it recognizes the eyes of people and animals in both still and video recordings.

Video recordings up to 4K/60P
The ability to record video in resolutions up to 4K/60P allows for highly detailed scenes.

Precise tracking
This option allows you to track subjects (even small ones) and assign tracking to an Fn button on the camera or lens via the shutter.

Uninterrupted vision
The 3690k-dot high-definition electronic viewfinder (EVF) gives you a smooth, uninterrupted view even when shooting at high speed.

Folding screen
Customizable information displays allow you to quickly adjust settings, or you can disable the information display entirely in static mode. The Live View option features an EVF that automatically turns off to save power.

Robust and light
Its magnesium alloy makes it highly resistant to any type of adversity. Its sealing protects it from cold, dust, and moisture.

SnapBridge
This app allows you to update your camera's firmware via your smart device. You can also use the app to capture still images and video remotely.

Wireless or remote shooting
There are two ways to do this: using the optional WR-R11b wireless remote controller and the long-range WR-1 wireless remote controller.
