An optical APD element is a special type of filter that gradually exposes light transmission, decreasing toward its periphery. It softens the edges of point images to create beautiful, delicate bokeh in both background and foreground areas, with minimal double-edged effects.

The DDSSM (Direct Drive SSM) focusing system provides fast, precise, and quiet autofocusing.
