The Marumi DHG Super UV 55mm filter is designed for clear, detailed outdoor photography. The six layers of multi-coated surface protect the filter from scratches and moisture, and also act as general protection. Each filter uses a specially developed Ultra-Low Reflection Coating to minimize internal reflection from the CCD and CMOS sensors built into cameras. It reflects the ultraviolet rays that often make outdoor photographs blurry and indistinct. This filter will not affect color balance or lens performance. The filter surface repels water spots and provides resistance to fingerprints; fingerprints that appear on the surface can be easily removed. High-quality multi-coated glass digital filters enhance light intensity and eliminate any type of reflection. Works with lenses with a 55mm filter thread and can be easily attached and removed. The lens cap can be attached when the lens is not in use or during travel.
