Profoto's Collapsible Reflectors perhaps represent light shaping in its simplest form. They are easy to use, easy to transport, and can be used to bounce or diffuse both sunlight and flash light. The sturdy, collapsible metal frame is equipped with two ergonomically shaped handles, making it easy to fold the reflectors and hold them in various positions.
The white fabric reflects light as naturally as possible, making it our most popular reflector and a great tool to start with. It provides soft, natural light, which is ideal for capturing outdoor portraits in bright sunlight, or for studio sessions when using a flash. To achieve the best effect from the white reflector, it should be placed very close to the subject.
Metallic gold fabric creates a warmer light with a lower color temperature. For example, if you're shooting a portrait at sunset but need to compensate for the sun being too low, a gold reflector can provide the warmth you need to capture the shot.
